A piece of American history
The idea was to create a unique set of arms.
It was made to be one of a kind.
So Nikolaus Moraitis decided to design a set of arms that does not exist a second time.
It tells a part of American history. It contains gold and rare gemstones as well as silver.
This set of weapons is going to be gemmed with stones like rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and brilliants.
All gold inserts are made of yellow gold 750-18ct. The mounting is made from mammoth ivory or ivory with a valid CITES certificate.
All weapons in this set are of the same caliber. Which caliber will be used is up to the customer.
A set like this is only made on customer’s demand. It takes about two to three years of work.
The gun case cannot be shown yet due to reasons of copyright.
The entire set of weapons is copyrighted.
Soon, there will be a further draft which will be made for the Arabic area.
Below you can see the cover motive of the gun case. It is made of a three-dimensional scene which will be placed behind glass in the cover of the case.
The scenery containing stagecoach, horses and riders will be made of gold, silver, fine wood, and ivory.
For clarification: The horses, stagecoach, and riders will be made individually and full of the tiniest details before they will be placed three-dimensionally on the mountain scenery.
Due to this delicate scenery, the glass is also used for its protection
The following picture is an example of how the scenery - made of several individual pieces - looks behind the glass.
Since it is not possible to work with sculptural designs on the weapons themselves, they are deep-engraved for having a three-dimensional look.
The Native American’s head is made for keeping the gun barrel clean.
The buffalo and the eagle can be used as screwdrivers for the gun set. Usually they are included in every expensive gun set. On the very right side you can see the matching bottle for oil with a unique engraving of initials.
The following two pictures show the cases for ammunition. They are each decorated with a bear and an elk.
